App Lab Works

Privacy policy. No ads, no trackers, and your data stays yours.

Effective October 31, 2026

In short

We don’t show ads, we don’t use third-party trackers, and we never sell or rent your personal information. Wherever we can, your data stays on your device or in your own iCloud account, where we can’t see it.

Who we are

App Lab Works LLC (“App Lab Works”, “we”, “us”) is an independent software studio. This policy covers this website, applab.works, and the apps we publish on the App Store. If an app handles data differently from what’s described here, its App Store privacy label and its own section on this page will say so.

This website

This site uses no cookies, analytics or advertising scripts, and loads nothing from third parties. Like any website, our hosting provider may process standard technical information — your IP address, browser type and the pages requested — to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. It isn’t used to identify or profile you.

Our apps

Unless an app’s privacy label says otherwise:

  • No account required. Our apps work without signing up for anything.
  • Your content stays yours. What you create is stored on your device. If an app syncs, it uses Apple’s iCloud in your private account, which we can’t access.
  • No tracking. We don’t track you across other companies’ apps or websites, and we don’t use advertising identifiers.
  • Diagnostics. If you choose to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may give us anonymous crash reports and usage statistics. These don’t identify you.
  • Permissions. If an app asks for access to something like your location, photos or health data, it uses it only for the feature you’re using, on your device. You can revoke it any time in Settings.

Purchases

Payments are handled entirely by Apple; we never receive your name, card or billing details. If an app offers in-app purchases or subscriptions, we may use a subscription service provider (such as RevenueCat) to validate receipts and manage access. It receives an anonymous app user identifier and your purchase history for that app — never payment details — and processes it only on our behalf.

Email

If you email us, we receive your address and whatever you include. We use it only to reply and help you, and delete support correspondence once it’s no longer needed.

Children

Our apps aren’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we’ll delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the GDPR in the EU and UK and the CCPA in California — you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of personal information we hold about you, and to object to certain processing. We collect so little that there’s usually nothing to share, but you can ask at any time by email. We won’t treat you differently for exercising these rights.

Changes

If we change this policy, we’ll update the effective date above. If a change meaningfully affects how we handle your information, we’ll say so clearly here and, where appropriate, in the affected app.
